Filming has just finished for the 2009 upcoming film "Hurricane Season," which took place in various locations in Louisiana. The film evolves around John Ehret's high school basketball team after Hurricane Katrina. The Patriots consists of players who attended 5 different schools before the disaster who embarks on a journey to the state championship. Starring in the film is Forest Whitaker, Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, Taraji P. Henson, Eric Hill, and Joshua "Beezy" Byers. Chris Paul also makes brief appearances in the movie. Since filming is done, the film should be released later this year or early in 2010. Lately, it has been pushed back due to financial problems.
